Arrow Lake Processors See Significant Price Cuts

Two unlocked Intel Arrow Lake desktop processors are currently well below their official pricing at Amazon US. The 24-core Core Ultra 7 270K Plus has dropped to $264.99, while the 14-core Core Ultra 5 245K is now $194.59.

The Core Ultra 7 270K Plus launched in March for $299, but Intel increased its Recommended Customer Price in July to $339–$349. The current $264.99 Amazon price is therefore around 11% below its launch price and 22% to 24% below Intel’s new range. The processor has 8 P-cores and 16 E-cores, boosts up to 5.5 GHz and has a 125W Processor Base Power.

This is also not the first time the 270K Plus has reached this price. We reported the same $264.99 deal in June, before Intel changed its recommended pricing.

The Core Ultra 5 245K has also returned below $200 at $194.59. Intel launched this 14-core 6P+8E processor at $309 in 2024, putting the current deal around 37% below launch pricing. It boosts up to 5.2 GHz and also uses the LGA-1851 platform. This is not its lowest recorded Amazon price, as the processor briefly dropped to $179.99 last month.

Intel also launched a new game promotion today featuring STAR WARS: Galactic Racer and Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, with Intel assigning a combined value of $119.98. Both the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and Core Ultra 5 245K appear on Intel’s qualifying hardware list. The promotion runs from August 10 through September 13, although Intel specifically states that the purchase period depends on the participating seller.

Amazon’s current listings for both processors do not mention the new promotion. One might contact Amazon or Intel to confirm that these offers are already available.
