When Does Summer Start?
Summer 2026 officially begins on June 21 and runs through September 22. However, in industry terms, “summer” is often understood as June through August. Regardless of the precise date, fans can expect a steady stream of reveals within the next four months. With the game’s scheduled launch on November 19 now only six months out, there is no time to waste.
What to Expect
The first two GTA VI trailers were largely cinematic, introducing protagonists Jason and Lucia and showing off the vibrant world of Vice City. Trailer 3 is expected to be a gameplay showcase – the first real look at how the game plays, from combat and driving to exploration and side activities.
Additionally, Rockstar has yet to reveal anything about the game’s online multiplayer component. Given the monumental success of GTA Online, a sequel is all but guaranteed. A dedicated online mode trailer or even a separate showcase could arrive later in the summer.
