Battlefield 6 is about to get its biggest update yet. Season 4: Pacific Front arrives on July 21, 2026, bringing long-awaited naval combat, a massive new map, new vehicles and weapons, and a host of gameplay improvements.

The update, version 1.4.1.0, goes live at 4am ET, with Season 4 officially starting four hours later at 8am ET.
Naval Combat and Dynamic Waves
The headline feature of Season 4 is the introduction of naval combat. Players can now take the fight across land, sea, and air on new amphibious maps and modes, captain naval vehicles, and master the new dynamic wave system that changes movement, visibility, and engagement flow across the Pacific shoreline.
Rolling waves can now disrupt enemy sightlines and create shifting tactical opportunities, adding a whole new dimension to Battlefield’s signature all-out warfare.
New Map: Tsuru Reef
The season introduces Tsuru Reef, described as the biggest all-out battleground yet. This sprawling Pacific archipelago features luxury bungalows, tropical vegetation, jagged cliffs, and open water, with combat built around land, naval, and air warfare. It’s the first map in Battlefield 6 designed specifically for combined arms across all three domains.
New Vehicles
Two new naval vehicles join the fight:
- RCB-90 Patrol Boat: A two-seat armoured patrol boat built for versatility, capable of commanding coastlines and executing flanking manoeuvres from the water.
- 7.7m NSW RHIB: A fast and agile four-seat light transport boat, equipped with a mounted machine gun for rapid coastal assaults.
New Weapons and Attachments
Three new weapons are entering the arsenal:
- BROD 3: An aggressive, versatile carbine with a collapsible stock for maximum mobility in close-range combat.
- EF88: A bullpup assault rifle designed for precision at mid- to long-range.
- VSSM: A designated marksman rifle with an integrated suppressor and subsonic ammunition, capable of full-auto fire for stealthy, lethal engagements.
Two new attachments also arrive: the Extended Barrel (increases projectile velocity at the cost of mobility) and the 1P86 LPVO sight (offers switchable 1.50x and 4.50x magnification).
Major Gameplay Improvements
Beyond new content, Season 4 delivers significant polish across the board:
- Water Gameplay: Swimming, resurfacing, reviving, and underwater visibility have all been overhauled to feel more consistent.
- Player Movement: Sliding, mounting, squad spawning, and zipline animations have been tightened.
- Vehicle Interactions: Vehicles now react more naturally with water environments, with improved visual feedback for boats, ground vehicles, and amphibious vehicles.
- UI and HUD: Menus and in-game HUD elements have received a clarity pass across Challenges, Rewards, Loadouts, and Player Profile stats.
- Audio: Improved feedback across vehicles, stationary weapons, sea movement, and underwater moments.
REDSEC and Ranked Battle Royale
Battlefield REDSEC is also getting a new season of Ranked Battle Royale with new leaderboards and permanent rewards. Naval warfare reaches the Fort Lyndon marina, adding a fresh dynamic to the battle royale experience.
Battle Pass Refresh
Season 4 brings a new Battle Pass with themed paths featuring hardware, weapon packages, soldier skins, and XP boosts. A BF Pro option is also available with tier skips, an exclusive bonus path, and a 5% XP boost.
