The Palworld Official Card Game is wasting no time building on its early momentum. After a wildly successful launch in July and a second set already on the horizon, publisher Bushiroad has officially teased the game’s third expansion — and it’s arriving sooner than you might think.
The third set is titled Eternal Ascent, and it’s scheduled to launch on January 29, 2027. The announcement came via the game’s social media channels, with Bushiroad confirming the release date and inviting players to pre-order booster boxes from their local game stores. While details are still scarce, the teaser promises more information in the coming weeks.
What to Expect from Eternal Ascent – Palworld Card Game
Based on Bushiroad’s track record with the first two sets, Eternal Ascent will likely introduce a fresh batch of Pals to the card game. The expansion is expected to feature a mix of early-game creatures and powerful late-game Pals, spread across the TCG’s four colors. Perhaps most interestingly, the set will also include new Colorless cards, which can be slotted into any deck regardless of its elemental alignment. That flexibility could shake up deck-building in a big way.
The timing of the announcement is strategic. The card game’s first set, Dawn of Palpagos, suffered from severe supply shortages and scalping issues after launch. Boxes were quickly bought up by resellers and listed on eBay at wildly inflated prices, making it difficult for genuine fans to get their hands on product. Bushiroad eventually issued an official apology and confirmed a 2nd Edition print run to meet demand. By teasing Eternal Ascent well in advance, the company is giving retailers and players more time to prepare — and hopefully avoiding a repeat of that chaos.
The Second Set Is Almost Here
Fans won’t have to wait until January for new cards. The Palworld card game’s second set, Legends Awaken, is set to launch on October 30, 2026. That expansion will bring 100 new cards to the game, including fan-favorite Pals like Chillet Ignis, Jetragon, and new versions of existing creatures such as Broncherry and Daedream. Bushiroad has already begun teasing these cards on social media, building hype ahead of the release.
