Rockstar Games is going for world domination with Grand Theft Auto VI. In a move that expands the franchise beyond gaming, the studio has officially announced GTA 6: The Album, a 34-track collection set to launch alongside the game on November 19.

The album, according to Rockstar, aims to “capture the electric energy of Vice City and Leonida,” featuring a “genre-defying artist roster” that spans hip-hop, electronic, country, and rock. The announcement comes just days after several high-profile musicians began posting GTA 6 artwork to their social media accounts, teasing their involvement. Among those were Travis Scott, Keith Richards, Morgan Wallen, and PinkPantheress.
Six Singles Available Now
While the full album won’t arrive until November, fans can get an immediate taste. Rockstar has dropped six tracks that are available to stream right now on Spotify and other platforms. The early releases include:
- Yung Lean – “That’s It (feat. Future & Metro Boomin)”
- Travis Scott – “RHYNO (prod. by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo)”
- CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.., & Etienne de Crécy – “Sexy Magic”
- Morgan Wallen – “Last Thing You Need”
- Rauw Alejandro – “Macacoa 2000”
- Keith Richards – “Bright Lights, Big City”
GAMINGbible has verified that all six tracks are currently available on Spotify. The album can also be pre-saved on the platform, following Spotify’s recent teaser campaign that hinted at a collaboration with Rockstar.
Physical Editions — and a Sold-Out Limited Vinyl
In an interesting twist, GTA 6: The Album is getting a full physical release, even though the game itself is digital-only. Three options were announced: a limited edition vinyl, a regular vinyl, and a CD. However, the limited edition vinyl sold out within minutes of going live.
The limited edition vinyl, priced at £108.99, features two transparent magenta discs filled with blue liquid and unique album artwork. It’s currently unavailable, and there’s no word on whether it will be restocked or offered at other retailers outside of Rockstar’s official store.
The regular vinyl costs £44.99 and features transparent magenta discs with blue splatter, while the CD is priced at £10.99 and includes a booklet. The full tracklist for the 34-song album has not yet been revealed beyond the six released singles.
The Irony Fans Can’t Ignore
The announcement has sparked a wave of commentary online, not just about the music, but about Rockstar’s decision to release the album physically while the game remains digital-only. GTA VI will not have a physical disc at launch; instead, boxed copies contain a download code. Many fans have pointed out the apparent contradiction.
“The irony to release this on disc but not the game itself.”
“So you’re releasing the music on CD and Vinyl but the game not on disc?”
While digital games are undeniably popular, the lack of a physical disc for GTA VI has been a sore point for collectors and preservation advocates. The decision to give the album a tangible release while the game remains digital has only amplified that frustration.

Whether Rockstar will address the physical media controversy further remains to be seen, but for now, fans have new music to enjoy while they wait for their return to Vice City.
