The revived Silent Hill franchise is shifting into high gear. Following the successful releases of the Silent Hill 2 remake and the original Silent Hill f, Konami has a clear strategy to maintain momentum: release at least one new title every year. According to recent comments from series producer Motoi Okamoto, the next game in this pipeline could be Silent Hill: Townfall, and it may arrive as soon as 2026.
Okamoto outlined the plan in an interview with Famitsu, stating the goal is to “keep the buzz around Silent Hill constant” by delivering a new experience annually. With Silent Hill 2 in 2024 and Silent Hill f in 2025, the logical next slot is 2026. The two major, officially announced projects awaiting release are the remake of the original Silent Hill and the enigmatic spin-off Silent Hill: Townfall.
This ambitious schedule is possible because Konami has distributed development across multiple specialized studios. Bloober Team handles the remakes, NeoBards developed Silent Hill f, and the British indie studio No Code (Observation) is behind Townfall. This parallel development structure allows for a steady stream of content without overburdening a single team.
While Okamoto confirmed that “unannounced titles” are also in the mix, the focus for 2026 is likely one of the two known major projects. A previous leak from a French site pointed specifically to March 26, 2026, as the release date for Silent Hill: Townfall. Although unconfirmed by Konami, this leak aligns perfectly with the stated annual release strategy.
