Red Dead Redemption Now Free on Netflix
The iconic Western adventure Red Dead Redemption is now more accessible than ever. Starting today, December 2, the beloved game is free to play for millions through popular subscription services, bringing the story of John Marston to a new generation of players.
The game has been released on modern platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and the Nintendo Switch 2. In a major move, it is also available on Netflix Games, meaning anyone with an active Netflix subscription can download and play the full game on their mobile device or PC at no extra cost.
Furthermore, Sony has added Red Dead to the PlayStation Plus Extra game catalog. Subscribers to this tier can claim and play the game as part of their existing membership.
This new release includes the complete original single-player campaign, the legendary Undead Nightmare expansion, and all bonus content from the Game of the Year Edition. Players can expect technical enhancements, including a smoother 60 frames-per-second experience on supported consoles.
