In an official statement, developer Pocketpair addressed the ongoing legal battle over alleged patent infringement, explaining that these adjustments were necessary to avoid further disruptions to the game’s development.
“We fully understand that many players feel the same frustration. Unfortunately, as the alternative would have led to an even greater deterioration of the gameplay experience, it was determined that this change was necessary.”
