Rockstar Games confirmed the six-month delay in a social media statement, moving the console release from May to November 2026 to allow for additional “polish.” However, the announcement, like all official GTA VI communications so far, exclusively mentioned consoles. This silence on a PC version confirms that the platform will not be part of the initial launch.
This strategy is standard procedure for Rockstar Games. Looking at the developer’s recent history provides a sobering estimate for when PC players can expect to explore Vice City:
