GTA 6 May Get a New Trailer Very Soon
The wait for the next glimpse of Grand Theft Auto VI may soon be over. Industry observers and fans are pointing to an upcoming milestone as the perfect catalyst for Rockstar Games to release the game’s third major trailer: Take-Two Interactive’s next earnings call on February 3, 2026.

Public companies often make significant announcements ahead of quarterly earnings calls to positively influence investor sentiment and share price. While Rockstar is famously secretive, the immense pressure from shareholders and the global fanbase makes the period before this financial update a prime window for a reveal. A new trailer would serve as a powerful statement that development is progressing toward the November 2026 release window.
The big question is what the trailer will show. The first two trailers masterfully established the tone, setting, and protagonists Jason and Lucia through cinematic storytelling. The logical next step for many fans is a first true look at raw gameplay. Players are eager to see modernized combat, driving, and the new mechanics of Vice City in action, moving beyond curated cinematic shots.
However, Rockstar’s own history suggests patience. Red Dead Redemption 2 did not receive a dedicated gameplay trailer until its fourth trailer, which debuted only a few months before launch. Rockstar may choose to follow a similar slow-burn marketing strategy, saving a deep gameplay dive for later in the year.
Alternatively, the next trailer could pivot to highlight the next iteration of GTA Online, the multiplayer component that will be a massive long-term revenue driver. Details on the online experience have been virtually non-existent, making it a ripe subject for its own reveal.
