Genshin Impact Leak New Durin-Themed Area
Travelers in Teyvat have a new and mysterious location to look forward to exploring. A recent leak from Genshin Impact has given fans an early look at a brand-new story area set to arrive with the game’s Version 6.2 update in December.

The leak, shared by a prominent source, features several images of a special story domain connected to Durin, the upcoming character making his playable debut. The screenshots reveal a visually striking location that shifts between dramatically different environments. One moment, players may find themselves in a dark, corrupted void, and the next, in a dimly-lit, tranquil townscape or a cozy parlor reminiscent of the Imaginarium Theater.
This new area is expected to be a central part of Durin’s Story Quest, providing the backdrop for his narrative when Version 6.2 launches on December 3. The diverse aesthetics suggest a domain that is either illusory, memory-based, or somehow fractured, promising a unique and engaging experience.
The addition of this area is just one part of a significant update. Version 6.2 is also rumored to introduce buffs for several older characters associated with the Hexenzirkel faction, including popular names like Venti, Klee, and Fischl. Furthermore, players can anticipate the return of powerful characters like Venti, Xilonen, and Varesa on the limited-time character banners.
