Genshin Impact Version 6.1

With Genshin Impact’s Version 6.1 update arriving on October 22, travelers now have a clear picture of the Primogems they can collect during the patch. While this update is smaller in scale compared to the massive Version 6.0 that introduced the Nod-Krai region, there are still plenty of resources available for those saving for new characters.

According to a detailed analysis shared by community member Hiragara Leaks, free-to-play players can expect to earn approximately 9,810 Primogems throughout Version 6.1’s duration. This amount translates to roughly 61 pulls, giving dedicated travelers a solid foundation for their wishing plans.

The Primogem distribution comes from various sources throughout the update. The Archon Quest will provide 650 Primogems alongside 2 Intertwined Fates, while the update’s main event offers 960 Primogems for complete participation. Two additional smaller events will contribute 420 Primogems each to travelers’ savings.

Permanent content forms the backbone of Version 6.1’s Primogem income. Daily commissions will provide 2,520 Primogems over the patch’s six-week duration, while the Imaginarium Theater offers a substantial 2,000 Primogems. The Spiral Abyss and Stygian Onslaught will contribute 800 and 450 Primogems respectively, and the Paimon’s Bargains shop will reset with 10 Acquaint Fates and 10 Intertwined Fates.

For players who invest in the Welkin Moon blessing, the total increases significantly to 13,590 Primogems. Those who additionally purchase the Battle Pass can expect 14,270 Primogems plus additional Fates, providing nearly 89 total pulls throughout the update period.

The slightly reduced Primogem count reflects Version 6.1’s lighter content focus compared to region-expanding patches. The update will introduce only one new playable character: Nefer, a Dendro Catalyst user and boss of the Curatorium of Secrets. Her debut banner will run alongside re-runs for popular characters Furina, Arlecchino, and Zhongli.

Despite the smaller Primogem haul, Version 6.1 brings significant additions to Teyvat. The update will introduce the highly anticipated Miliastra Wonderland, Genshin Impact’s first user-generated content mode, allowing players to create and share their own gameplay experiences. The Archon Quest will also feature major story developments with appearances from familiar characters including Varka and the return of Dainsleif.
