Where to Find Urubamba
Location: Northeast of Atocpan’s Statue of the Seven (no quest marker—just talk to him).
Urubamba won’t give you a formal quest, but he’ll explain his predicament: eight baby Tatankasaur have scattered across the region, some in danger. Rescuing them all triggers his speed-based challenge and that sweet achievement.
Pro Tip: The babies are split between open-world hazards and enemy encounters—bring a combat-ready team!
Baby Saurian Locations #1–3 (Cube & Ground)
From Urubamba, head south to find:
- Two babies wandering safely on the ground.
- One trapped atop a cube, aggressively spitting at you.
Solution: Use the nearby Tatankasaurus transformation (rock armor) to charge-smash the cube’s muzzle, freeing the third baby.
Baby Saurian Locations #4–6 (Enemies & Distractions)
- #4: Near a waypoint, a Hilichurl is harassing a baby—defeat it.
- #5: Northeast of the nest, a baby is chasing a Tepetlisaurus—interact to “catch” it.
- #6: East of the nest, a Matador Monetoo is bullying a saurian—use the Tatankasaurus form to scare it off.
Key Detail: The nest area (marked by giant bones) is a central landmark—check around it!
Baby Saurian Locations #7–8 (Cave Rescue)
- #7: Southeast of a waypoint, a Hilichurl camp guards a baby near a cave entrance. Clear them out.
- #8: Inside the cave, the final baby is locked in a cage with more enemies. Fight them and open the cage.
Warning: The cave has Geo barriers—bring a Claymore user or Geo character to break through.
Claiming Your Rewards
After rescuing all eight:
- Return to Urubamba for a Precious Chest.
- Complete his warrior challenge (dash through rings within 60 seconds) for a second chest.
- Earn the “I Am Speed” achievement!
Challenge Tip: Use Anemo Resonance or stamina-reducing food to ace the dash course.
