A New Challenge Arrives in Teyvat
Genshin Impact’s endgame just got bigger with Stygian Onslaught, the latest combat mode added in Version 5.7. Unlike the Spiral Abyss or Imaginarium Theater, this challenge supports co-op play and resets team energy to zero—forcing players to rethink their strategies. Located in Liyue, it’s designed to test even veteran Travelers.

Key Features of Stygian Onslaught
Six Difficulty Tiers range from simple to brutally complex. Clearing Hard (III) unlocks all Primogem rewards, while Fearless (V) and Dire (VI) grant Dust of Enlightenment and an exclusive weapon skin. The highest difficulty features a daily leaderboard, ranking the top 16 players (“Exalted Ones”) per server.
Strategic Tips for Success
Prepare three specialized teams for Dire (VI) difficulty. Energy management is critical—your burst starts at zero, so prioritize energy-generating characters like Raiden Shogun or Favonius weapon users. Co-op is allowed for lower tiers, but Fearless and Dire rewards require solo play.

Rewards and Resin Farming
Beyond combat rewards, Stygian Onslaught offers a new Artifact farming method. For the first 10 days, you can spend Resin here to claim Domain of Blessing rewards—but only after clearing Hard (III). This gives dedicated players extra flexibility in optimizing builds.
