Genshin Impact Leak
The highly anticipated playable debut of Columbina, one of the Fatui Harbingers, is coming closer, and a new leak has provided a comprehensive look at her role in Genshin Impact. According to reliable sources, Columbina is being designed as the definitive support character for the Lunar Reaction mechanic introduced in the Nod-Krai region.

Columbina is expected to be a 5-Star Hydro character who wields a Catalyst. Her kit, as detailed by prominent leakers, is specifically tailored to empower the new Lunar Reactions, which are alternate versions of classic Elemental Reactions like Electro-Charged and Bloom.
Her reported Elemental Skill creates a Hydro aura that continuously applies the element to nearby enemies. Crucially, this skill also deals damage based on the type of Lunar Reaction that has been triggered most frequently during its duration, with the damage scaling from Columbina’s HP.
Her Elemental Burst is said to function similarly to other top-tier supports, creating a dome that provides a team-wide buff to all Lunar Reaction damage. This would make her an invaluable addition to any team built around characters like Nefer or Flins, who specialize in these new reactions.
Further leaks suggest her passive talents and constellations will enhance the specific effects of Lunar Reactions themselves, such as making the thunderclouds from Lunar-Charged appear more often. This level of specialized support solidifies her niche as the premier enabler for this particular playstyle.
However, this very specific focus also means her value may be more limited for players who do not use Lunar Reaction teams. Unlike previous Archons, who often have universal utility, Columbina’s power appears to be concentrated on boosting this single, new mechanic.
