Battlefield 6 Players Reporting
The highly anticipated launch of Battlefield 6 has been met with a frustrating issue for many players. Developer DICE has officially acknowledged a widespread bug that is preventing a significant number of players from receiving their promised launch-day rewards, affecting content earned through various pre-launch activities and special editions.

The problem came to light shortly after the game went live on October 10. Players began reporting on social media and official EA forums that cosmetic items and bonuses they were entitled to had not appeared in their in-game inventories. These reports prompted an official response from DICE within hours of the game’s release.
In a statement, a DICE representative confirmed the studio is actively investigating the cause of the distribution failure. The bug has a broad scope, impacting rewards from multiple sources. Players who participated in the Open Beta, purchased the premium Phantom Edition of the game, or completed the “Road to Battlefield 6” battle pass in Battlefield 2042 are all experiencing delays in receiving their content.
Missing rewards

We’re looking into an issue that is preventing some players from receiving their in-game rewards from the Phantom Edition, the Open Beta rewards, as well as the Road to Battlefield 6 rewards.
We will provide an update when the team has resolved the issue.
The developer has not yet provided a specific timeline for when players can expect a fix, asking for patience as their teams work to resolve the problem. While the issue does not affect every player, it appears to be particularly prevalent among the PC player base.
Some industry observers have speculated that the reward distribution bug could be linked to broader server strain or authentication issues with the EA App, which some users have also reported experiencing on launch day. High player volume often leads to such technical hiccups during major game launches.
For those concerned about time-sensitive rewards, there is some reassuring news. EA had previously stated that unlocks from the Battlefield 2042 “Road to Battlefield 6” battle pass would be redeemable in the new game until March 31, 2026, giving DICE ample time to resolve the issue before any content becomes permanently unavailable.
