Assassins Creed Shadows Drops Free Attack on Titan
Assassins Creed Shadows continues to expand its feudal Japan setting with a surprise new update that blends history with anime in a thrilling crossover. Title Update 1.1.6 is now live, bringing a limited-time collaboration, a new story quest, and gameplay improvements to all players for free.

The headline addition is a special event partnership with the globally popular anime series, Attack on Titan. For a limited time, players can unlock new cosmetic items inspired by the iconic Survey Corps uniforms and the terrifying Titans. This unique crossover allows fans to bring a distinct style to their adventures as Naoe and Yasuke.
Alongside the anime flair, the update introduces a brand-new quest titled “The Puzzlement.” This mission takes the protagonists to south Wakasa, where they discover a mysterious, sealed door. Described as a “fun and humorous quest,” it will see the duo employing various creative techniques to uncover what lies behind it. Completing this new adventure will reward players with valuable new abilities for their characters.
The update also addresses the game’s endgame content by introducing more variety to the Corrupted Castles. This change ensures that players are less likely to encounter repetitive layouts, making these challenging activities feel fresher and more unpredictable with each attempt.
As with most patches, Title Update 1.1.6 also includes a range of bug fixes designed to improve overall stability and gameplay smoothness.
