The AMD Ryzen 7 7700X3D has received its first discount only two days after its official launch. Newegg, the exclusive US retailer for the Ryzen 7 7700X3D, is offering a limited-time promotional code that significantly lowers the processor’s price.
The processor launched on July 16 with an MSRP of $329. Newegg currently lists the processor for $328.99, but promotional code PKC337 reduces the price by another $49. The final price is therefore $279.99, excluding applicable sales tax. The offer is marked as limited and applies to the standalone processor sold and shipped by Newegg. The promotional code may expire or reach its redemption limit without notice.
Why the Quick Discount?
The speed of the discount reflects a straightforward market reality. At $329, the 7700X3D sat close enough to the Ryzen 7 7800X3D that reviewers struggled to explain who it was for. You were being asked to save a small amount of money to get a measurably slower chip. At $279, the gap opens to roughly $120—enough to be a real decision rather than a rounding error.

AMD does not include a cooler with the processor. The chip supports DDR5 memory, PCIe 5.0 connectivity, and AM5 motherboards based on AMD’s 600-series and 800-series chipsets.
