Palworld’s ‘Home Sweet Home’ Update
The massively popular creature-collecting survival game Palworld has announced its next major update, “Home Sweet Home,” set to launch on December 17. This update brings a surprising crossover and long-requested features, alongside a tease for the game’s future.

Headlining the new content is a unique collaboration with the fast-paced shooter Ultrakill. Players will be able to explore the world of Palworld as characters V1 and V2 from Ultrakill, complete with signature moves like the iconic “coin shooting” attack. This unexpected mashup adds a fresh layer of gameplay to the open-world survival experience.
The “Home Sweet Home” theme is carried by new base customization options. While full details are still emerging, a reveal trailer confirmed players will gain more control over the look of their bases, including the ability to paint buildings. This feature addresses a popular player request for greater personalization in their homesteads.

This update continues Pocketpair’s robust post-launch support for the game, which has previously expanded with new islands, Pals, and mechanics since its early-access debut. The trailer concluded by confirming that game full 1.0 release is officially planned for 2026, signaling the game’s continued evolution from its breakout success last year.
The “Home Sweet Home” update arrives on December 17 for game on Xbox, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
