Travelers planning their Primogem savings for Genshin Impact’s upcoming Version 6.2 update now have a comprehensive roadmap to guide their pulling strategies. A detailed analysis shared by community member hiragara reveals that free-to-play players can expect to earn approximately 8,935 Primogems throughout the update, providing ample resources for the new characters arriving in December.
The Primogem distribution comes from various sources throughout the six-week update cycle. Version 6.2 will introduce two new Archon Quest chapters that will reward 590 Primogems and 2 Intertwined Fates upon completion. While no new exploration areas are planned, the update will feature a robust event schedule with the main event offering 960 Primogems, two secondary events providing 420 Primogems each, and an additional smaller event contributing 280 Primogems.
Permanent content forms the foundation of Version 6.2’s Primogem income. Daily commissions will provide 2,520 Primogems over the update’s duration, while the Imaginarium Theater and Spiral Abyss will contribute 1,000 and 800 Primogems respectively. For players who invest in the Welkin Moon blessing, the total increases significantly to 12,715 Primogems. Those who additionally purchase the Premium Battle Pass can expect 13,395 Primogems plus additional Fates, providing substantial resources for the new characters.
Version 6.2, scheduled for December 3, will introduce two new playable characters: Durin, a 5-star Pyro Sword user, and Jahoda, a 4-star Anemo Bow character.
