Genshin Impact Luna II Update
Genshin Impact’s latest major update, “Song of the Welkin Moon: Reprise — ‘An Elegy for Faded Moonlight'” (Version “Luna II”), is now live, bringing a substantial amount of new content to the popular open-world RPG. The update introduces a new playable character, an innovative game mode, story continuation, and numerous quality-of-life improvements.

All players who reached Adventure Rank 5 before the update will receive compensation of 720 Primogems total (420 for maintenance, 300 for issue fixes) via in-game mail, along with the usual update bonuses.
The headline addition is Nefer, a new 5-star Dendro Catalyst character described as “the remarkably resourceful owner of the Curatorium of Secrets.” She specializes in dealing Lunar-Bloom damage through her skills and enables teammates to trigger Lunar-Bloom reactions. Her gameplay revolves around consuming Verdant Dew to unleash special Charged Attacks while in her Shadow Dance state.
Perhaps the most significant new feature is Miliastra Wonderland, a creative game mode that allows players to design and share their own custom stages. Players receive a “Wonderland Manekin” that serves as their avatar within this mode, with extensive customization options available through collectible cosmetics. The mode supports both solo play and cooperative multiplayer across PC, mobile, and console platforms.

These continue the ongoing “Song of the Welkin Moon” narrative that has been unfolding through recent updates.
Other notable additions include new weapons like the 5-star Catalyst “Reliquary of Truth,” new enemies including the Frostnight Herra, and updates to existing game modes. The Imaginarium Theater will receive new seasons in November and December with different elemental requirements and character rotations.

The development team has also supplemented voice-over content for several characters and fixed issues across quests, combat, and environmental interactions.
As with previous updates, maintenance compensation is available for a limited time, and players are encouraged to claim their rewards promptly through the in-game mail system.
