New Assassins Creed Comic This November
Fans of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag have a reason to celebrate this fall. Edward Kenway, the charismatic Welsh pirate and assassin, is returning in a new graphic novel adventure. “Assassin’s Creed: Forgotten Temple – Volume 1” will be released in English for the first time on November 18, 2025, bringing the popular Webtoon series to Western audiences in print form.

Published by Viz Media, the graphic novel collects the first seven issues of the comic series that was previously only available in France and Spain. The story follows a modern-day narrative alongside Kenway’s historical adventures, creating the dual-timeline experience that Assassin’s Creed fans know and love.
The plot centers on Noa Kim, a character kidnapped by Abstergo in Macau and forced to relive his ancestor’s memories through the Animus. That ancestor turns out to be Edward Kenway, who embarks on a new swashbuckling mission across Southeast Asia. The description promises “shifting alliances with new friends, deadly battles with the scheming Templars, and all-new enemies” that will test all of Kenway’s skills as he searches for First Civilization vaults.
This release comes amid ongoing rumors of a Black Flag remake in development at Ubisoft, though nothing has been officially confirmed. For now, this graphic novel offers fans their first new Edward Kenway story in years, expanding the lore of one of the most beloved protagonists in the franchise.
