A major highlight is the long-awaited addition of a time-skip mechanic. Assassins Creed Shadows Players can now advance the time of day by meditating, a feature the community has been asking for since launch. This finally provides parity with the existing season-changing mechanic, offering greater control over gameplay conditions for stealth or exploration.

The update also rewards dedicated players with an increased level cap of 100, allowing for more deep and versatile character builds. Complementing this are 20 new hideout upgrades. Key enhancements include a Level 4 Study that lets scouts reveal both Viewpoints and Safehouses, and a Level 4 Kakurega that automatically unveils an entire province once all its viewpoints are cleared.

For loot enthusiasts, two new top-tier gear rarities have been introduced: Mythic and Artifact. These powerful items can be acquired by leveling up the Forge to Level 6. In a delightful nod to series fans, the update also adds Ezio Auditore’s iconic Renaissance Robe and Hood from Assassin‘s Creed II as a bonus collectible.
